A Reading by Pedlar Press Authors Stan Dragland and Ken Sparling
Thurs, Feb 17, 2011 / 7:30pm / Hart House Library / Free

Q&A session and book sale will follow

(Stan Dragland, an award-winning author of three books of fiction, several volumes of criticism and the editor of numerous collections of essays, was born in Alberta and now resides in St. John’s, NL. His latest novel, The Drowned Lands, was published by Pedlar Press in March 2008.)

(Ken Sparling is the author of Hush Up and Listen Stinky Poo Butt (Artistically Declined Press), an untitled novel and For Those Whom God Has Blessed With Fingers (Pedlar Press). His latest novel, Intention/Inclination/Wind, will be published by Pedlar Press in 2011. Ken resides in Toronto.)

STROLL: PSYCHOGEOGRAPHIC WALKING TOURS OF TORONTO

Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7pm in the Hart House East Common Room

The Literary and Library Committee presents an interactive evening of literature, architecture and art, featuring Toronto author SHAWN MICALLEF.

Shawn will discuss and answer questions about his book,  STROLL (Coach House Books and Eye Weekly), which features 32 walks that celebrate Toronto’s details and help us better get to know its many hot-spots and overlooked corners.

Copies of the book will be available for sale, and there will be the opportunity to get copies signed. Light refreshments will also be served.

This event is free and all are welcome!!!
